The Scientific Conference on "Traumatic Brain Injury" was held at Poursina Hospital
Scientific conference on "Traumatic brain injury with approaches based on medical, nursing and rehabilitation evidence" was held in Poursina Hospital, Rasht, on August 3, 2017.
According to the Public Relations Department of Guilan Neuroscience Research Center, the one-day scientific conference with a re-training score, officially permitted by Iran's Continuing Medical Education System was held at the Poursina Hospital, Rasht, on Thursday, August 3, 2017. The scientific secretary of the conference was Dr. Kamran Ezzati (Ph.D in physiotherapy). At the conference, Dr. Ebrahim Nasiri (PhD in anatomy) gave lecture on clinical anatomy of the central nervous system, Dr. Zahra Mohtasham Amiri (specialist in geriatrics) on brain trauma load in Iran and the world, Dr. Yasser Moaddabi (neurologist) on neurological defects following brain trauma, Dr. Zohair Reyhanian (Neurosurgeon) on diagnosing traumatic brain damages, Dr. Peyman Asadi (Emergency Medicine Specialist) on treatment and management of patients with traumatic brain damages in the initial hospital phase, Dr. Sima Arzpeima (Radiologist) on imaging in brain trauma patients, Mrs Maria Moghtader (MSc. in Nursing) on nursing care in brain trauma patients , Dr. Sarah Ramezani (PhD in Neuroscience) on brain mapping and stimulation in brain trauma patients, and Dr. Kamran Ezzati on new physiotherapy treatments in moderate and severe brain trauma patients. At the beginning of this conference, Dr. Seyyed Mehdi Zia Ziabari, specialist in emergency medicine and head of Poursina educational and therapeutic center, congratulating on the occasion of the birth of Imam Reza (AS), referred to the traumatic approach of this conference, and emphasized on holding scientific conferences related to this approach at Poursina Hospital.
